Hand-built stoneware ceramic bowl with an irregular, hand-trimmed rim. The design is created when amber glass crystals in the glazes melt to create a pattern of alabaster, sand, glacier blue, and tea rose - making it truly one-of-a-kind.

Tethys is Saturn's fifth largest moon was discovered in 1684. Tethys' density is 0.97 times that of liquid water, which suggests that Tethys is composed almost entirely of water ice plus a small amount of rock. The name comes from the Greek goddess (or Titan) Tethys, who was the daughter of Uranus and Gaea. She was said to be the mother of the chief rivers, the mother of three thousand daughters called the Oceanids and the embodiment of the waters of the world.

The perfect vessel for serving an entre or holding your favorite treasures. Donuts for scale.
