Handmade, wheel-thrown icy blue and matte white plate and small bowls in stoneware. The design is created when the glazes melt into an irregular pattern in the gas kiln - making it truly one-of-a-kind. Drippy glaze break over magnetite on the exterior of the plate.

Polydeuces is an example of a so-called "Trojan" moon it follows a larger moon in orbit around the planet Saturn (in the case of Polydeuces, the larger moon is Dione). Polydeuces is a trailing co-orbital of Dione, while the moon Helene is the leading co-orbital. Polydeuces (another name for Pollux) is named after the child of Leda and Zeus.

The perfect vessels appetizers. Sold as a set. Donuts for scale.

Matte glazes should not have prolonged contact with typically staining foods. Visit FAQ for care instructions.

Ceramic dimensions approximately 1.25" H x 9.75" W & 1.5" H x 4.5"
