Handmade, wheel-thrown icy blue and matte white plate and bowl. The interior design is created when the glazes melt into an irregular pattern in the gas kiln - making it truly one-of-a-kind. The plate is stoneware and the small, altered bowl is made from porcelain.

Halley's Comet is arguably the most famous comet. It is a "periodic" comet and returns to Earth's vicinity about every 75 years, making it possible for a human to see it twice in his or her lifetime. After five nights of stargazing in 1986, I was able to catch a glimpse in Hawaii.

The perfect combination for appetizers. Eggs for scale.

Matte glazes should not have prolonged contact with typically staining foods. Visit FAQ for care instructions.

Ceramic dimensions approximately 0.75" H x 9.25" W & 1.5" H x 3.5" W..
