Handmade, wheel-thrown celadon, pale blue, and milky chalk altered plate on stoneware. The design is created when glass crystals in the glazes melt into an irregular pattern - making each platter truly one-of-a-kind.
Ganymede is one of Jupiter's 53 moons (another 26 are awaiting official names). It is the largest moon in our solar system and the only moon with its own magnetic field. The magnetic field causes auroras, which are ribbons of glowing, electrified gas, in regions circling the moon’s north and south poles.
