Handmade, wheel-thrown black, storm gray, and sand plate on stoneware. The design is created when amber glass and magnetite crystals in the glazes melt into an irregular pattern - making it truly one-of-a-kind.
Magnetite is a rock mineral and one of the main iron ores, with the chemical formula Fe3O4. It is one of the oxides of iron and is ferrimagnetic (it is attracted to a magnet and can be magnetized to become a permanent magnet itself). It is the most magnetic of all the naturally-occurring minerals on Earth and has many positive energetic properties as a crystal.
The perfect large plate for appetizers or a substantial side dish.
Ceramic dimensions approximately 1" H x 10.75" W.
