Handmade icy blue and matte white wide hand-built two-piece platter in porcelain. The design is created when the glazes melt into an irregular pattern in the gas kiln - making it truly one-of-a-kind.

One of Saturn's 82 moons, Calypso is a Trojan (trailing moon) of the larger moon Tethys, completing one orbit in 45 hours. Originally called S/1980 S25, Calypso is named for a nymph whose name means "I hide." A child of the Titans, Oceanus and Tethys, she lived alone on her island until she fell in love with the explorer Odysseus.

The perfect vessels for appetizers or decor. Sold as a set. Donuts for scale.

Matte glazes should not have prolonged contact with typically staining foods. Visit FAQ for care instructions.

Ceramic dimensions approximately 0.5" H x 5" W x 10.5" L.
