Handmade, wheel-thrown icy blue and matte white large bowl on stoneware. The design is created when the glazes melt into an irregular pattern in the gas kiln - making it truly one-of-a-kind. Partially unglazed exterior with a striking peach line at the glaze break. 

Uranus has five major moons of 27 known: Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon (each represented as in the Autumn collection). Ariel is was discovered in October 1851 by William Lassell and named after the sylph Ariel from Alexander Pope's The Rape of the Lock.
