$238.00

| /

Handbuilt icy blue and matte white large serving bowl on reclaimed stoneware with celadon carved exterior. The design is created when the glazes melt into an irregular pattern in the gas kiln - making it truly one-of-a-kind.

Amalthea is a moon of Jupiter. It has the third closest orbit around Jupiter among known moons and was the fifth moon of Jupiter to be discovered. Amalthea is named for a naiad who nursed the newborn Jupiter. Amalthea is often depicted with a goat, whose milk is said to have fed the infant.

The perfect vessel for dinner gatherings or decor. Donuts for scale.

Matte glazes should not have prolonged contact with typically staining foods. Visit FAQ for care instructions.
